Rebuilding, Thriving, and Innovating in a Post-COVID World

MIAMI, FL

Month Day 2025

CONFERENCE

OVERVIEW

The Black Food Business Revival & Festival is a one-day intensive gathering designed to address the systemic and contemporary challenges that Black-owned hospitality businesses face. As the industry continues to recover from the devastating impact of COVID-19, this conference serves as a pivotal moment to rebuild, innovate, and sustain growth in a rapidly changing economic landscape.

WHY THIS

CONFERENCE?

The COVID-19 pandemic disproportionately affected Black-owned restaurants, bars, and hospitality businesses, exacerbating long-standing disparities in access to capital, real estate, workforce stability, and marketing visibility. Many businesses were forced to close, while others struggled with rising costs, staffing shortages, and changing consumer behaviors. However, the crisis also presented an opportunity—one that calls for new strategies, stronger collaborations, and innovative solutions to ensure that Black entrepreneurs in the hospitality sector not only survive but thrive.

This conference will bring together leading industry professionals, investors, policymakers, and marketing experts to provide actionable solutions and pathways to success. Attendees will gain access to practical strategies, funding opportunities, and insider knowledge needed to navigate the post-pandemic business climate. A day filled with insightful discussions, networking opportunities, and delicious food and drinks. This exciting day is sponsored by The City of Miami Mayor’s Office, Miami-Dade County District 1 Commissioner Oliver Gilbert, and The Hungry Black Man Media.
